Making Math Fun For Kids During Self-Quarantine

I don't know about you, but math has NEVER been fun for me. It was a school subject I always struggled with and it just bored me to tears. So, I can only imagine how parents are struggling to teach their kids math during this self-quarantine time! Well, there's an answer!

Calculuators.org reached out to me asking me to try out their ***FREE***online math games and I was immediately, like AH! This will not go well. Well, I was pleasantly surprised by the games that they offered. This collection of online math and educational games can be used for homeschool teaching and helping students learn math. Honestly, they're fun games for adults too, keeping us sharp and exercising our minds.

They're incredibly creative with adorable graphics that will keep kiddos entertained — this is way better than flash cards and writing tables down like I had to do when I was a kid (God, am I dating myself??? lol).

In “Math Boy”, you actually slay little monsters, encouraging you to get the answers right so you don’t see our hero get attacked!!

And many of them are speed based, so it really gets your adrenaline pumping. Also, there’s such a variety, from the “Arithmetic Game” where you select the cartoon kid that wrote the right answer on the chalkboard to “Feed Math” where you feed a portly boy sushi by adding numbered dishes together!

They’re mentally challenging, visually eye-catching and keep you locked in, they’re also very easy to use and load. You got to the website calculators.org/games and just click the game you want, it pops up instantly and the directions are really obvious. If I can do it… anyone can, lol. So if you’re trapped at home and want to teach the kids math in a fun way, this is a fantastic option! Hey, give your math skills a test too!
